CENTURY PREDATOR FREESTYLE WIN'S 3D MASTERS SPORTMAN'S CLASS.
3 Aug 2006
Adam Turner won the 3D Masters Sportmans Class 2006.
Peter and Trevor Roper above.
What a 3D Masters that was, we would like to thank every one who came, all the competitors and organisers for a wonderful smooth running event.
The Century UK pilots were there showing what they and there new Predator Freestyle could do. Both Peter and Adam had a good time at this year’s event and are looking forward to next years already.
Peter Roper Finished 7th over all in the Experts class. Peter was forced to pull out of his last flight due to a fuel pressure pipe failure in mid flight causing him to loose power and land, at this point Peter was in 6th and was looking for that top 5 spot which he almost achieved. Still Peter finished in a very impressive 7th place in the Expert class.
Adam Turner won the 3D Masters Sportsman’s class. Adam who became a sponsored pilot of Century UK after wining the Clubman’s 3D with his Century Swift decided to enter the 3D Masters with the Century Predator Freestyle. Adam got off to a good start getting in to the top 10 after the first day. After a nights rest Adam was ready to really show what he could do with the Freestyle and gave an amazing freestyle flight which moved him up to 3rd at the end of day two. Day three started early as the sportsman’s didn’t get there second flight on Saturday. Adam again took the Freestyle to new extremes with his flight to music he came second, moving him in to 3rd place overall, safely in the top 5 this put in to the fly off final round. Now with the wind picking up and the sun right in the pilots eyes, Adam stepped up to the mark and gave a spectacular performance witch was enough to win him the 1st place in the 2006 3D Masters Sportsman’s trophy.
Well done Adam and Peter and best of luck next year in the Experts class.
