Advanced Spec
The ISHIMA RAVE M1.0R is the top of the line model in the Rave series. Designed by top designer Claude Lachat from France, the RAVE M1.0R will raise the performance bar for 1/8th off-road buggies.
Strength, durability, nimble handling, stability and maximum corner speeds were the key design features targeted. The signature "Lay-Down" shock design provides excellent handling, smooth out all asperities in the track and jumps can be taken effortless. Even if you push the car to its limits, it stays perfectly balanced. The RAVE M1.0R will be the buggy to choose to dominate the competition.

The overall weight of only 3380gr, the low centre of gravity and the balanced load distribution provides outstanding driving dynamics and excellent track stability under any racing conditions. The ISHIMA signature lay-down shock system and the optimized suspension geometries provides easy handling and precision controllability , no matter if you drive on flat fast tracks, bumpy technical tracks or sky-high jumps. Ball type front suspension
The ISHIMA racing design team adopted the well proven ball type front suspension to the RAVE M1.0R.
The ball type suspension system features:

Less parts count
Chassis
The ISHIMA RAVE M1.0R is factory fitted with a high strength and torsion free CNC-machined 7075 grade competition chassis. The chassis features a hard-anodised surface treatment.
The ISHIMA RAVE M1.0R features:

Suspension Arms
The suspension arms are one of the most important parts on a model racing car and are exposed to extreme impacts during racing.
It was a big challenge for the ISHIMA racing engineering department to create lightweight but torsion free suspension arms that can withstand the highest impacts during the long finals of a race and still provide the driver with a responsive feel. After a long period of testing, a special polymer mixture is been made to guarantee rigidity, reliability and performance.
Aluminium
plates
All aluminium plates fitted on the RAVE M1.0R are CNC-machined in T6 grade aluminium. None of the aluminium plates are mould stamped alloy as found on most RC cars on the market.
The advantages of CNC-machined aluminium plates
- Higher precision and better tolerances
- The aluminium has not been exposed to extreme stress on the material during production (pressure during stamping of the plates)
- Nice and clean machined edges (no rough borders)

Fully Ball Raced
The RAVE M1.0R is factory fitted with 28 high quality rubber sealed precision ball bearings.
Servo Saver

Differentials
When you talk "racing", you talk "gears". Spinning at more then 8000 RPM, ever changing speeds and increasing temperatures inside the differentials up to 80°C, the gears are a critical part in a racing buggy.
All gears in the RAVE M1.0R are made of hardened steel, CNC-machined to absolute perfection.
The differential is fitted with 6 spider gears; the differential casing is made of temperature resistant composite material. The differential out-drives are made of hardened steel.
The working of the differential can be adjusted by using silicon oil inside the differential ranging from 5000 CPS (soft) up to 100.000 (hard).
Centre differential assembly
It has an easy to access centre differential assembly. Only remove 4 screws and the complete differential assembly can be removed for cleaning or servicing.
All gears in the RAVE M1.0R are made of hardened steel, CNC-machined to absolute perfection.
The centre differential is fitted with 6 spider gears; the differential casing is made of temperature resistant composite material. The differential out-drives are made of hardened steel.
The working of the differential can be adjusted by using silicon oil inside the differential ranging from 5000 CPS (soft) up to 100.000 (hard).
The centre differential assembly is fitted with a separate front and rear brake system.
The ventilated steel brake disks in combination with the steel / Ferodo brake pads ensure optimal deceleration. Special brake discs alignment supports ensure a perfect guidance of the brake disks. The brake cams are ball raced for more precise control of the braking power.
Universal drive joints
The RAVE M1.0R is factory fitted with front, rear and centre hardened steel Universal drive shafts for smooth power transfer and optimum durability.
Shock stays
The front and rear shock stays of a competition buggy are exposed to hard impacts as they take the first shocks after a bad landing. They need to be strong to guarantee a perfect functioning of the shock absorbers.
The RAVE M1.0R features:

- 4mm thick CNC 7075 hard anodised rear shock stay
- 4mm thick CNC 7075 hard anodised front lower arm holder
- 4mm thick CNC 7075 hard anodised rear lower arm holder

6mm thick CNC 7075 hard anodised rear toe-in arm holder.
Shock absorbers
The shock absorbers need to operate smoothly to ensure a perfect damping, they have to be strong to absorb the constant impacts and they certainly may not leak oil. The ISHIMA shock absorbers are made of the finest aluminium and are machined with the highest precision to guarantee a perfect smooth functioning during the long main events.
The ISHIMA shocks features:
- Hard coated in and outside surface treatment
- 1 piece aluminium shock cap
- CNC machined DELRIN shock piston (perfect roundness)
- Super soft silicon shock bladder
- 2 pcs first grade silicon O-rings
- Aluminium end-cap with rubber dust protection
Hardened super smooth shock shafts.
Hex hubs
17mm Hex hubs retained with pin and grub screw for maximum durability and easy maintenance.
Chassis stiffener
The RAVE M1.0R is fitted with a rear and front 7075 CNC-machined aluminium chassis stiffeners
Anti roll bars
The RAVE M1.0R includes front and rear anti-roll bars for controlled chassis roll.
Electronics assembly
The electronics assembly in 1 piece can be easily and quickly removed for servicing and cleaning.
Only remove a few screws and the electronics assembly can be removed. The very easy to access radio box protects the receiver and battery from dust and dirt. The radio box is big enough to accept today's receivers as well Li-Po battery packs or 4 or 5 cells Ni-xx battery packs.
Fuel tank
125ml fuel tank with large quick fill system. The fuel tank is fitted with a internal fuel filter.
Aerodynamic wing
The aerodynamic wing is studied to give the right down force at low as well high speeds. The wing is moulded from a very flexible composite mixture, all edges are reinforced to prevent cracking or shearing, making this wing almost unbreakable.
The wing support is specially designed and moulded from a very flexible composite mixture to be able to bend and flex after heavy shocks. The wing holder offer many different wing mounting positions. This enables to adjust the wing and the down force to the different track situations.
Easy maintenance
The RAVE M1.0R has been designed with the racer in mind with simplified access to all parts for easier maintenance. For example only 5 screws have to be removed to access the front and rear diff without dismantling the main chassis or suspension.
High quality hex screws are been used throughout the car to reduce the possibility of stripped screws.
High speed and increased acceleration
The ISHIMA RAVE M1.0R RTR is factory fitted with a .25 size engine with a user friendly pull start system.
The M.25 size ISHIMA engine is easy to start, easy to tune and provides plenty of power and torque.
The RAVE M1.0R offers a wide range of tuning adjustments. All suspension parameters are easily adjustable and can be fine tuned to the track condition and your personal driving style.

The RAVE M1.0S is supplied as a "Ready to Run" car. Although RTR cars are mostly fitted with cheaper electronics to cut down the cost, we at ISHIMA racing selected higher quality components as the RAVE M1.0S is not just a RTR buggy, but a pure racing buggy "out of the box"
